Advisory Committee 2017 was held at Indonesia



The Advisory Committee was held at Indonesia on October 25 and 26 regarding the Japan – ASEAN Food Industry Human Resources Development Public and Private Partnership Project.

Approximately 50 people participated from ASEAN governments officials, universities, ASEAN secretariat, the Republic of Indonesia Government – Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises , the Japanese Government – the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and Japan Food Related Companies and Organizations.

A three-year project progress was reported from the first phase, 2014 to 2017, was made, and requests from each countries were arranged and proposals were made for the second phase three years from 2018 to 2020 It was.

ASEAN countries was confirmed for further project cooperation, and the Japanese government stated that it is hoped that not only expanding partnership programme but also realization of joint research and investigation among universities and companies according to Food Value Chain in the second phase.
