We had Japanese Factory Visit Tour in Japan by inviting 5 ASEAN member states including Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Phillipines to Japan through 4th September to 10th September in 2016.

We visited 9 Japanese Factories to learn about Japanese Food Value Chain such as Fuji Oil(Food Processing), Takii(Seed and Seedlings), Takeoka Shoyu(Soy Sauce Brewery), Pasona(Farm & Human Resource Development), Ajinomoto(Food Processing), AEON(Retailer), Ota Market(Vegetable & Flower market), Kokubu (Food Logistics).

For the last day, we held the report conference and Mr.Maruyama from the Deputy Director-General of MAFF congratulated the participants. All the countries did their presentation in their traditional clothes.

“This is not the end, but it’s another new beginning”.
The eye opening study tour will be continued for the next year in 2017 in order to share the Japanese food industries to the future generations in ASEAN countries.
