ASEAN Secretariat held the Expert Meeting on 20th Sep
The Experts Meeting 2023 was held on 20th September, hosted by the ASEAN Secretariat. The 25 experts from the public and private sectors whom mainly have experience as lecturers in partnership programs, attended the meeting. The company and organization whom attened the meeting was MAFF, FAMIC, IDACA, Ajinomoto AGF, NARO, NAPA, Yanmar Agri, Megumilk snow brand, Yusen Logistics, Yoshinoya Holdings, JA Zenchu, NEC solution innovators, Japan Food Journal, and AFH.
Mr. Ebihara, Director, Plant Variety Protection Office, Intellectual Property Division, Export and International Affairs Bureau, MAFF JAPAN had a remark with “This project wasn’t succeed without the cooperation of many private sectors who have special knowledge in the food industry, including all of you who participated today. We would like to once again thank the companies and everyone for their understanding and your cooperation. In the ASEAN region, we are confident that the young generation who are familiar with the Japanese food industry will contribute to the future development of the Japanese food-related industry and read to strengthen the global food value chain”.
In addition, The HRD project at ASEAN Secretariat had announced about the plan for HRD project Phase 4 which will be held from 2024 to 2026, and had been asked the participants to keep the cooporation in the future.
Japanese experts had discussion for the Phase 4 and especially many suggestions have been made for making better workshops at the partnership programs forward from them.
